Terms of the Chicago van desk for reservation requests

Florida Van Rental Company is a van reservation desk in Chicago, Illinois. One independent rental provider in the Chicago area writes your quote and agreement, checks every driver's license, takes payment and any refundable deposit, and hands over the keys.

1. Role of the desk

The desk receives reservation requests for rental vans, asks one independent Chicago rental provider for availability and a price, and sends you that provider's written quote. The rental itself, the vehicle, payment, any refundable deposit, mileage, roadside assistance and the drop-off are governed by the provider's rental agreement, which you sign with the provider.

2. Figures printed here

Figures on this site are starting rates for the whole van picked up in Chicago, worked out by the desk from road miles and drive days. They are set to cover every charge the rental provider requires of drivers who meet its standard age and exclude the Illinois, regional and City of Chicago rental taxes that apply, which the quote lists line by line. The provider's written quote states the total. You are never bound by a figure you have not seen on a quote.

3. Payment

Nothing is paid on this site or to the desk. The rental provider takes payment and any refundable deposit on its own terms.

4. Drivers and use

Every driver shows a current license to the rental provider and meets its age rule. The desk places 12- and 15-passenger vans with adult groups, families and congregations, and every rental is for a use the provider's agreement allows.

6. Collection, return and the drive

Vans are collected at the rental provider's lot in the Chicago area and returned where the quote says. Any refund of a deposit or payment follows the provider's terms. Tolls and fuel on the road are billed under the provider's own terms, stated on the quote. Road conditions, routes and the hours you drive are yours to judge; the drive days on this site are planning figures.

7. Liability

The desk is responsible for passing your request accurately and promptly, and for sending the quote it receives. The rental agreement itself is between you and the provider.

8. Law

These conditions are governed by the law of Illinois.

9. Changes to these conditions

The date beneath the heading moves with every revision. A request already answered by the desk stays governed by the version in force on its send date.

10. Names and marks

Place names on this site describe where vans go. Any other company's names and marks belong to their owners; the rental provider is named on the written quote the desk sends you.

11. Who owns the words and pictures here

The text, the route drawings and the photographs on this site belong to Florida Van Rental Company LLC or were made for it. You may quote a passage with a link to the page it came from.

12. Notices about rights

Should any material on this site appear to use your work or your mark without authorization, write to requests@floridavanrentalcompany.com or to the desk at 303 W Erie St, Suite 320, Chicago, IL 60654, naming the page and the work. The desk answers and, where the notice is right, removes the material.

13. The site as information

The pages describe how the desk works and what a rental is likely to cost, and they are provided as is, as general information. The binding offer is the rental provider's written quote, and the binding contract is its rental agreement.
